It's from the TV show Time Trax, which aired on PTEN (alongside Babylon 5 for two seasons, from January 1993 to December 1994. Darien Lambert shot fugitives from the future with a PPT, which sort of stunned them, then had his computer place a classified ad in the Washington Post; "meanwhile", 200 years in the future, there are people searching the newspaper's archives who see the ad and retrieve the person from the specified time and location.

OMG...I just had a similar dream! I'm not kidding. Only the time travel stuff was in this little silver case that was no bigger than 2" square. You'd open it like a lipstick cantainer. You'd rub it on the door knob in the bathroom and it would then create a door you could walk thru and be on the other side of the door/wall. You'd end up in a parallel world. Same people and same names same places..etc...but the events and all would be different. Soooo weird. How bizarre that you and I had similar dreams.

today is mon october 15,2007. This is the 3rd time ive time trtaveled!I was dreaming but i was aware of myself being in a dream it was during midevel times,there were slaves but i did nt know that the people i was around were slaves.It was a very beautiful mollotto woman controlling everything,i told them i was going to help my granparents become wealthy they laughed,so she asked me how was i gonna do that,i replied im going to gary to make them rich,the woman and i stared at eachother as if we knew eachother for the longest of time,something in my mind told me to tell her the truth about being a time travler,But i knew if i told her i would wake up,so i being stupid told her ,she cried and cried cause she had believed me ,suddenly i awoke,To myself i felt i should have not told her because it was wrong ,i was aware i was dreaming suddenly i woke up pissed off.Tears came down my eyes i never could get that dream back.......FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a dream where I was allowed to be a visitor in a 1820'a or 1880's logging camp. I remember being on a train with my 'adapted' family who was in search of a camp to call home. Once accepted into a camp, no-one was allowed to leave without papers. I remember maling a comment that that is how slaves were treated - no-one seemed to understand that.
Upon wanting to go to the store, my family members were going through my paperwork, which included a present day PG&E bill ready to mail. This had to be disposed of because it would have given my identity away.
Once at the store, I remember seeing hand soap for .93 cents, and thing to myself (stating to my 'host' I was sharing the body with), that soap was more expensive then it was in my time.
After picking up a pie, and then returning it, I was waiting for the clerk to give me a price on something, when the camp owner, a very ugly and crude man, (and this is where I was allowed to be me in this walk in's body), said I could work in his garden if I slept with him on occasion. The 'real' me spoke forth and told the man no, and I wasn't nice about it, and loudly repeated his 'offer' in front of another man..
It was then that I woke up (for real), but the dream continued in my mind. The out come was first that this woman was raped and murdered - but then it -'she' came back into my now awake mind, and told me that all was well. That she played along with this 'game' and became this mans 'favorite', and then his wife. She outlived him, and due to her status, was able to help the other people in this 'prison type' camp (my wording, not her's). She actually invented running hot water for baths, and a drain on a bathtub. She sent me a mental picture (when I was awake), of the first design of such.
This is not the first time I have had such 'real' dreams, and they always amaze me. Just had to tell someone.

i agree time travel isa very confusing thing surly if u meant your other sef there would be a paradox or something like that

I had a time travel dream last night. I used a digital device not unlike a clipboard calculator type device but instead of calculator buttons it had a date i could set(mono lcd like a watch). when i looked out the window, the scenery reflected the era. I remember seeing Vietnam, blizzard of 78, summer 1986, World War 2, and possibly 10 or 15 years in the future. It was very interesting dream and i remember quite a few details.

I remember having a dream of my bedroom it was a dark antique looking version of my bedroom and up the top of my bedroom the ceiling opened up to a parallel world thats like the best dream ive ever had. But was this parallel world the past? future? or planet? Who knows wat this place was?. But i had a vague memory of a girl locked in sum vortex or wat ever it was and it end up in a glass house.

HAHAHAHA...WELL I HAD SUM TIME TRAVEL DREAM WHERE I LIVED HERE IN RS BUT SUMHOW GOT TO SUM TIME POINT WHERE THEY HAD BARELY EVEN MADE RS...I WAS WEIRD CUZZ I WAS LIKE TRYIN TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET BAKK INTO MY OWN TIME..AND I SUMHOW FOUND DA WAY AND TOLD ME MOM BUT SHE WOULDNT BELIVE ME SO I WEN TBAKK INTO THE PAST AND TOK PICS OF EVRYTHING SO I CAN SHOW HER DAT I WASNT LYUIN...MY CUZINS WERE HELPIN ME AROUND CUZZ IN DA DREAN THEY LIVED THERE AT THAT TIME...AND AS WEIRD AS IT SOUNDS..I SWARE DAT I FEEL LIK IT WASNT THE FIRST TIME IVE DREAMED IT OR WENT THREW IT..IT SEELS LIKE SUMTHIN SIMILAR OR SUMTHIN..LIKE IF IT REALY HAPPENED OR ALREADY HAPPENED...LOL ITS COOL =]]

Oh wow ! I had a strange time travel dream with a guy i met on the internet some time ago . Scott Sharples (Aletheia) is there any chance you have found this by typing your name? You must know , i have no choice over my dream material, a randomness of mental pieces gets scattered and escapes once in a while. He was getting prepared for a theater show and so was I. The vibe i was getting from this dream was that of infatuation or admiration for him , although he had his heart set for another lady. A theater girl whose poster he was eyeballing . There were three pictures of her , her face with her eyes down, a modest classical look and way older than him. While i was getting ready one of my earrings dropped to the floor and he picked it up at the door of my room. It was a yellow or golden heart shaped earring , which is weird since i hold no such jewelry in real life.At one point i felt as if i was reading up his feelings and he was hiding something. There was some tables with food around, i was tasting it and making sure the quality was top notch . Suddenly im not sure of what happened, this lady from the service staff approaches me and tells me that he has been spying on me.Unexpectedly i find myself on the past , although i didn't change ,I kept my same age and looks but he changed back into a child who was on the back of a truck with his same age sister . It seems like a huge parking lot where people are living there in their cars, poor people with little money. My feeling towards him change, he seems more like family now although there's some connection im trying to figure out.I was consoling him about their new status and that i knew he will grow into a beautiful successful man despite the present circumstances and that's when it strikes me ! I was going to be the woman on the theater poster that he would be admiring in the future and that's why i my age went unchanged when he went back . I was supposed to stay older than him.A steamy scene plays on my mind eyes for some reason, and then i went away pouring salt around my bed to stop the dreams about him. The dream is over ,i woke up and turned on my computer and what do you know! My computer clock has gone crazy displaying the wrong time. It has gone back a few hours , like in the dream , i just fixed it but was left with an eeriness that has drive me to this place to write about it. I have no idea why he comes into my dreams so easily and without knowing him well,but it was a vivid one and im sure these images cannot be just mine. It just doesn't make any sense unless it does for someone else or another time period in which maybe i did knew this individual?
