David Stapf, President of Paramount Network Television, said, "The creators, stars and crew of
Star Trek: Enterprise ambitiously and proudly upheld the fine traditions of the
Star Trek franchise. We are grateful for their contributions to the legacy of
Trek and commend them on completing nearly 100 exciting, dramatic and visually stunning episodes. All of us at Paramount warmly bid goodbye to

two replies:
This sucks. This sucks big time.
I want another year, to see what Manny Coto can do with the show. And maybe if it was on a time when it didn't go up against a popular science fiction series about a team traveling to other planets through a circular device, or against John Ritter's last series or against the show about a teen who talks to God. And I wish ratings took into account VCRs and DVRs. Plus the encore presentation (Saturday night here in DC).
Anyway... I feel bad for the current creative staff and cast of the show. They all deserve to be able to keep working on this series. Remember the good old days when this show could easily have moved to first-run syndication with no problem?
